Who are you and how long have you been a food photographer?
Hi! I’m Brian, and I have a deep passion for both food and photography. Since 2010, I’ve been fortunate enough to combine these two loves into a career that brings me joy every single day. It’s a lot of hard work, but I often find myself pinching myself in disbelief that I get to do what I love for a living.
Curious to learn more? Check out my About Page.
What kind of projects do you take on?
I take on a variety of photography projects, working with both small businesses and larger companies. My primary focus is on capturing the essence of restaurants and culinary spaces, whether it's through dynamic food photography or creating inviting images of the dining experience.
In addition to restaurant work, I also handle studio shoots for cookbooks and brand imagery. Whether you’re a local business or a larger brand, I aim to create clear, engaging images that meet your needs.
What are your available hours for photography sessions?
I am available for photography sessions from Monday to Friday, typically between 9AM and 5PM. Weekend sessions can be arranged on special request. Please contact me in advance to check availability and book your preferred time slot.
How can I inquire about your pricing?
Pricing can be provided by messaging me via the Contact Page. In order for me to provide the most accurate estimate, please include any details you have regarding the specific project and scope of work, including what you would like photographed, how the images will be used, where the photoshoot will take place, and what your preferred date(s) is.
How do I book a photography session?
To book a session, you can use the Contact Form on my website or email me. I will do my best to follow up within 24 hours to discuss your project. If, for some reason, I have not responded within 24 hours, do not hesitate to follow up (messages sometimes go to spam).
How long does it take to deliver the images?
After your photography session, I take great care in editing and perfecting your images, delivering the final results within 10 business days. If you need your photos sooner, I offer rush delivery options with a customized fee, which we can discuss to best meet your timeline.
In what format will I receive the images?
All images will be delivered as high-resolution JPEG files. You will receive a download link via email, where you can access and download your photos.
Can I request additional edits or retouches?
Yes, I offer additional editing and retouching services. If you have specific requests, please let me know, and we can discuss the details and any additional costs involved.
After a date for our photoshoot has been selected, what are the next steps?
Once we've discussed the production details and set a date and location, you're all set for a seamless experience! Every project, big or small, begins with signing a photography agreement. This ensures that all expectations are clearly communicated and protects both of us—me, the photographer, and you, the valued client.
To secure your booking, a 50% deposit is required at the time of booking. This deposit is non-refundable and secures your session date, allowing me to dedicate my time and resources to creating beautiful images for you.
Do you have a studio? Do you work with food and prop stylists? Do you have props and surfaces of your own that you rent out?
While I don't have a studio of my own, I have collaborated with many wonderful spaces in the Boston area that could be perfect for your project. I'm happy to recommend some options and even reach out to check their availability. Additionally, we can discuss the possibility of using my home kitchen and other spaces if that suits your needs.
I have experience working with many talented food and prop stylists in the Boston area, so you’re in good hands if you need styling assistance.
I also have a limited selection of props and surfaces available for your project. If you'd like to use them, there's a separate rental fee.
What kind of equipment do you bring to a shoot?
The equipment I bring to each photoshoot depends on the project's needs. I always have my camera, lenses, and a lighting setup to capture high-quality images. While my gear collection is extensive, I'm open to renting any specific camera body or lens required for your project for an additional fee.
I aim to limit the amount of equipment I bring to avoid taking up unnecessary space that might impact the shoot. If needed, I can also provide or acquire additional gear, such as computers, iPads, external monitors, and rigs.
What forms of payment do you take?
Payment can be made in the form of a check. If you prefer to pay via credit card, this can be done via Pay Pal (a 3% processing fee will be applied to all credit card payments).
How can I contact you with further questions?
You can reach me via email. Alternatively, you can use the Contact Form on our website. I strive to respond to all inquiries within 24 hours.
